Concert and Live Event Staging Across the Valley

Upstage Companies rents mobile stages, staging and the crew to run them for concerts, festivals and outdoor events in Phoenix and across Arizona. Every stage is delivered, set up and struck by Stageline-certified technicians, so the stage your performers walk onto was built by people trained on that exact model.

We work out of our Phoenix office and can pair the stage with the rest of the build: truss and decking, barricade, power, audio, lighting and LED video, plus the stagehands and trucking to move it all. One quote, one point of contact, one crew on site.

Whether it is a compact SL75 for a community concert or a SAM-series stage for a festival headliner, tell us the date and the site and we will recommend the right stage.

Outdoor Event Stages Built for Arizona

Staging an outdoor show in the desert brings its own planning. This is what we look at with you before the trucks roll.

Where the schedule allows, we put load-in and strike in the cooler hours so the build stays safe and on time.

From mid-June to the end of September, afternoon wind and storms are part of the plan. We follow each stage's wind limits and monitor conditions through the show.

A level, firm area, truck access and clear overhead space. We confirm the footprint with you before show day.

Spring and fall are festival season in the Valley, and stages book up first. Lock your date in as soon as it is set.

Phoenix Stage Rental FAQ

Quick answers to the questions we hear most.

Stage Rental Questions

How much does it cost to rent a mobile stage in Phoenix?
Price depends on the stage model, how many days it stays on site, where in Arizona the event is and what you add to it, such as roof banners, video wings, lighting or audio. Send us the date, the site and a rough idea of the show and we will come back with a clear quote, usually within one business day.
What size stage do I need for my event?
It comes down to the act and the audience. A compact SL75 suits a DJ, a speaker or a small band. An SL100 or SL260 handles a full band with a lighting and PA rig. Touring headliners and festival main stages usually need an SL320 or one of the SAM-series stages. Share your stage plot and expected crowd size and we will recommend the right one.
Is delivery, setup and strike included?
Yes. Every mobile stage is delivered, set up and struck by our Stageline-certified technicians, so you do not need to supply stage labor. If you need stagehands for the rest of the build, our Phoenix crew can cover that too.
How far in advance should I book a stage?
As early as you can. Spring and fall festival seasons in the Valley fill up first, so book as soon as your date is set. Shorter-notice requests are still worth a call — if a stage is free, we will make it work.
What do you need from the event site?
A level, firm area large enough for the stage footprint, truck access to get the trailer in, and clear overhead space for the roof to raise. We confirm all of this with you during planning, before anything rolls.
Can you run outdoor stages in the Arizona heat and monsoon season?
Yes. We plan load-in and strike around the heat where the schedule allows, and every mobile stage has the manufacturer’s published wind limits, which our technicians follow and monitor through the show. That matters most during monsoon season, from mid-June to the end of September.
Can you provide sound, lighting and video with the stage?
Yes. We rent audio, lighting and LED video packages alongside the stage, plus power distribution, barricade and ADA platforms, so one partner covers the whole build.
Do you rent stages outside Phoenix?
Yes. We cover the whole Valley, including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert and Glendale, and travel statewide. If your event is somewhere else in Arizona, ask — if the date works, we will bring the stage to you.
