Truss Structures Towering Above Tradition
Upstage Companies engineered and installed 50-foot-tall truss structures to accommodate ASU’s largest graduating class. These towering frameworks were not just a feat of engineering—they were the backbone of the event’s technical production.
The trusses supported a sophisticated array of audio systems, a massive LED video wall, and—for the first time ever—pyro flame projectors that added a thrilling energy to the celebration. Protecting the Field and Beating the Heat
Conducting an event of this scale within a pristine football stadium presented unique challenges. Preserving the meticulously maintained turf was a top priority. Our team devised a meticulous layout and load distribution plan to ensure that the field remained unscathed during both installation and tear-down.
Furthermore, with Arizona’s notorious springtime heat, our team strategically opted to complete the load-in overnight. This protected the team from blistering temperatures and ensured a smooth and efficient setup process. By working during cooler nighttime hours, we maximized efficiency and minimized risks associated with equipment overheating or crew fatigue.
Custom Stage and ADA Accessibility
