Upstage’s Industry Commitment Takes Center Stage at the 2026 Live Production Summit

LPS show

Each January, the live events industry heads to Palm Springs to escape the cold and come together at the Live Production Summit (LPS)—and this year, Upstage showed up with our strongest presence yet. With a team of 11 traveling to the desert, from leadership to stagehands and technicians, our commitment to LPS continues to grow year after year.

A Partnership at an All-Time High

Upstage’s continued partnership with Live Production Summit was on full display in 2026. We believe deeply in the value of this trade event and remain committed to being an active, long-term partner in its annual success.

As a co-presenting sponsor, Upstage provided a fully equipped mobile stage in exchange for sponsorship—complete with professional audio, lighting, video wall, staging, and technical support. The stage was built using the StageLine SL100 mobile stage, a trusted and versatile platform used for high-profile events nationwide.

What made this partnership even more impactful was how the stage was utilized. The LPS team hosted several panels and educational seminars directly on Upstage’s outdoor stage, making it a central outdoor gathering point for attendees throughout the summit. This not only enhanced the overall visual and experiential quality of the event, but also further substantiated Upstage’s industry expertise, production standards, and commitment to elevating the live events community.

We worked closely with LPS Director Chris Musgrave and our production partners at OSA to ensure the stage seamlessly supported the summit’s programming and reinforced the professional caliber of the event.

Reconnecting, Expanding, and Showcasing Our Capabilities

LPS continues to be one of the most valuable industry events for strengthening relationships. This year, we reconnected with longtime industry friends, made new customer connections, and demonstrated the depth and breadth of Upstage’s capabilities.

Last year at Live Production Summit, we made key connections with Red Bull / Berger Logistics, which have since resulted in several successful projects. That momentum continued again this year, as we identified new logistics leads, built fresh relationships, and opened the door to future opportunities—once again proving the long-term value of our presence at LPS.

ProShow Logistics Shows Up Strong

Upstage also proudly showcased our logistics division, ProShow Logistics, by bringing one of our beautiful semi-trucks on site. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with strong interest from attendees focused on touring productions, artist logistics, and large-scale event transportation.

The visibility of our truck and team sparked meaningful conversations around the importance of reliable, integrated logistics—and confirmed that ProShow Logistics continues to be an essential extension of our production services.

The Best Booth on the Floor

Our trade show booth quickly became a standout at Live Production Summit. We received consistent feedback from attendees that Upstage had the best booth at the show, citing our striking backdrop, polished marketing, great swag, and—most importantly—the quality of conversations happening at our space. The booth served as a true hub for connection throughout the event.

A Pinnacle Moment for Upstage

The highlight of the summit came during the annual Pinnacle Awards, which honor excellence across production, lighting, design, hospitality, and more. Upstage was nominated for Best Production Company in the West, alongside several outstanding organizations—and we were honored to take home the award.

Upstage CEO, Chris Martin proudly took the stage to accept the award on behalf of the entire team. Being voted on & recognized by our industry peers and conference attendees makes this honor especially meaningful. It validates the work we do and reinforces Upstage’s role as a key player in audio, video, lighting, staging, and integrated production services throughout the western United States and beyond.

Looking Ahead

Live Production Summit continues to be a keystone event for Upstage—one that fuels relationships, strengthens partnerships, expands our national exposure, and drives real business growth. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute, collaborate, and lead alongside the best in the industry, and we’re already looking forward to what’s next.
